The façade of the Eurovea Tower is characterised by 12 ribs with a surface of white painted aluminium sheet and a groove with LED strips for lighting along the entire height of the building. All the ribs, arranged in groups of 3, 4 and 5 on each wall of the skyscraper, continue above the level of the top floor of the reinforced concrete structure for another 12 m as the crown of the entire tower. The highest point of the OK is then 168 m above the surrounding ground level.

The steel crown structure consists of 12 columns with a shaft made of a closed welded profile of variable height and, together with three rings made of large-diameter tubes, has a mass of approx. 210 t. It is absolutely essential to take into account the fact that maximum efficiency in assembly must already be achieved when designing a structure to be erected above 100 m.

The OK crown was designed very efficiently as a partially integrated steel-concrete structure. The aesthetic and ornamental structure thus simultaneously supports the aforementioned reinforced concrete slab and allows to minimize the number of columns in the open layout of the most luxurious apartments located on this top floor. In the tops of the imaginary triangular ground plan of the building, the structures supporting the ornamental tubes are located, due to their shape, called A-pipes. The ornamental tubes are placed horizontally and form certain rings with several plan breaks. The smooth bends were achieved by hot bending with induction heating. A sophisticated system of connections and concealed connections allowed both smooth assembly and absorption of the thermal expansion of the material.

Designing the Eurovea Tower skyscraper exceeding 100m in height successfully tested our numerous experiences of the past years and prepared our team for the next challenges.
