Entrances to the underground garages

Another element complementing the multifunctional complex on the Danube embankment, located between the bridge landmarks of the Apollo Bridge and the new Old Bridge, are the small but no less interesting entrances to the underground garages.

The entrances, like the central corridor of the shopping arcade, are covered with an effective skylight of irregular freeform construction. For the sake of quick and trouble-free assembly in a limited space, parts of the structure were reassembled in the workshop. Individual nodes in individual geometries with limited repeatability of parts were made from solid steel prisms by machining on a 5-axis CNC centre.
