"MASARYK" or POLYFUNCTIONAL OBJECT MASARYK CENTRE 1

The next building designed by ZAHA HADID ARCHITECTS, which we had the honour to participate in, is due for completion at the end of 2023.

 We have been working on the design of the "Masarycka" cladding and the underlying steel structures since 2019. With the POMC1 project, we have been through the changes in building energy performance legislation and the subsequent waves of Covid. Even the new style of working at a distance hasn't stopped us from working with the architects to master the geometric refinement of the golden keel shaped curves and verticals running out into the overhead crown, the slats encircling all floors and staircases in Rotated Plaza. A surprisingly wide-ranging brief for the design of glazing compositions for the many types of glazed facades and openings proposed was developed.

 We are still working with the investor Penta Real Estate, Praha and the general design team JAKUB CIGLER ARCHITEKTI to this day on the solution of certain load bearing structures for this building.
