In October 2023, the steel structure of the footbridge K5 was installed near the village of Valašské Příkazy, which is part of the cycle path "BEVLAVA" (Bečva - Vlára - Váh).
The steel part of the footbridge structure is designed as a truss with an upper bridge deck. The steel span of 60.0 m is followed by two concrete spans of 16.0 m and 12.0 m. The truss spans are made up of 406mm diameter tubes.
The OK was assembled on the forebay from three large workshop fabricated parts and then mounted in its entirety on the abutments by a massive mobile crane with a capacity of 750 tonnes.
The bridge deck at the level of the upper lane will be concreted in the final position of the footbridge.
