Steel-concrete pylon structure of the international road bridge with suspended bridge deck. The bridge carries the road over the Danube River between Komárom (HU) and Komárno (SK).
The structure is a steel chamber structure with two chambers. Up to approximately three-quarters of the height, one chamber is connected to a reinforced concrete fill. The second chamber is equipped with a staircase and serves as a communication chamber. The pylon is located approximately 1/3 of the width of the stream, closer to the Slovak side.
The total height of the pylon is 118 m, of which approximately 109 m is above the Danube.
